The Bodycon.

Fashion Rehab, Personal Style
Hey Addicts,
Hope you all had a fly weekend I know I did. Anyway today it’s all about bodycon/figure hugging  dresses as some would call them. Walking in town this days it’s hard not to notice a lady or five rocking this trend. Its become such a hit its almost criminal if you don’t own one. Our very own socialites seem to be owning the bodycon dress more but we kinda figure why! Anyway the dresses come in different lengths, designs, colors, prints the whole shebang!
Even with all this different takes on this dress, I am in love with the midi-length dresses. I think they are classy, elegant and when worn in the right way can definitely turn up your sexy. Forget Justin Timberlake bringing sexy back; this dress is already bringing it and then some.
The bandage dresses and skirts are also very easy to style. They do not require many accessories as you do not want to take the attention away from your dress. I prefer doing a simple up do with my hair, some cute tiny earrings or none at all, a pretty necklace and maybe some chunky bracelets and in case it gets cold I would go for a leather jacket to add a bit of edge to my look and lastly add on some heels. I would definitely settle for heels when it comes to this particular look. This is something one can wear out on a date or just any casual/informal event.
Another look  you could try out would be a kind of bohemian chic look by throwing on a jersey over your dress, some strappy sandals either flat or with a small heel with your hair down for a comfy and relaxed look. This would work for a weekend event or when your going out shopping.
This trend is quite versatile and can be worn to the office too. Throw on a nice fitted blazer, some pointed leather toe heels and some jewelry and your set. However, for the office choose neutral colors to avoid drawing too much attention at the office, nothing wrong with that, but looking professional is what we are going for.
My choice of dress for this post was a lovely twist to this trend. It was a mix of a bodycon and a high low. The high low touch gave the dress the illusion of a slit. It had two personalities. All business on one side and a party on the other. I LOVE IT!!!P.s its up for sale… I love the print on this one. Prints are good at hiding the problem areas on your body.  I wore this to an afternoon out with my sister. I paired it with pointed heels of a similar colour, Added a gold chain-link necklace and a pair of pearl earrings. I kept the accessories to the minimum to avoid over  accessorizing.
