Happy Tuesday my beautiful readers!
How’s 2015 going for you so far? First of all, thank you so much for the feedback you’ve been giving us. It’s nice to know we have some love out there! We really appreciate it. On a different note, I can’t believe it’s already the last week of the month! Go figure! I’ve been waxing lyrical about how this month should be over already but you guys can feel me on this. From being broke, to the massive amounts of heat we’ve been having! As a matter of fact, the days seem to be a bit longer than the nights! This is the time to break out those light outfits from the sheers to the lace…and of course deo and sunscreen. And on that sheer note,
this black dress is perfect for this weather. In retrospect, when I bought this dress it was completely sheer, no lining at all. Now, If I was a celebrity, I’d probably just wear it with a nice bra and a matching pair of high-waist undies but let’s fast track back to reality, this is Kenya and that’s not going to happen any time soon. So the cover up inside is actually a light silky slip dress. This dress is actually really versatile and I decided to style it in two. In my first look, I went for a chic look pairing the dress up with a pair of two-tone strappy heels, held my hair up in a high bun(love them) and accessorized with a gold metallic collar necklace, bracelets and some rings and mid-rings for some happy fingers. This was a pretty simple look but the dress makes such a statement so it’s all about the phrase “Less is More”. Check out the pics below and tell us what you think!
