“People will stare…Make it worth their while!”
Hello there! Lovely Thursday to you all. The first month of the year is finally bidding us adieu and well I don’t know if I should be excited, considering that I have so much to accomplish this year, I guess I’ll just have to keep up right? Anyway I decided to do a bit of venting today and discuss the fashion crimes that we are subjected to on a daily and in the wise words of Elsa Schiaparelli, “In difficult times, fashion is always outrageous”…and we are living in difficult times but I’m not so sure she was referring to this though! Every day we come across some pretty extreme outfits everywhere we go from our very own fashion victims. Today we shine a light on five awful visual assaults that our eyes are subjected to that should help us all discover the critical areas that need to be polished to perfection. So here goes…
Hello fashion lovers!!
Merry Christmas eve to you all. The season is back again and though it’s a bit cold on this sides of town not because it’s snowing, but the rain suddenly decided to pull a one on us and now I’m stuck indoors watching the T.V Christmas specials (which are mostly repeats of what they decided to show last year) ,but I’ve learnt not to expect much from Kenyan t.v as there is simply nothing much to watch.
With Christmas just some hours away, I couldn’t help but notice how the whole Christmas spirit has been fading away little by little with each passing year, which is quite sad if you think about it. either people have been overwhelmed by a season that seems to promise more than it can deliver or the usual Christmas traditions are becoming a bit too cliché for everyone and no one is quite eager to indulge in them, maybe its just in Kenya or maybe the lack of snow on a Christmas day in Kenya or Africa in general makes it less ‘Christmasy’!…my opinion and observations again might be wrong.
Hey guys! It’s been a long minute! Hope you had missed us. Anyway a lot has been taking place and maybe that’s a good excuse for our silence, but not to worry, we back, so do not fret!
Time is moving fast and we are definitely not growing any younger. There is nothing that serves as a good reminder of this fact like watching your friends get married, have kids, start working and the whole cycle of life, but let me not get all emotional about it since we all know we are not going to be 18 forever!(which sucks by the way).
A friend of ours got married recently, Congratulations to the couple, and we had the opportunity of attending the wedding.Just for those who think this isn’t a big deal, you should know that The Tweenz are highly sort after wedding guests.I digress, but anyway, such events offer a chance to meet new people, make friends and probably network. The hardest part to this is how to approach someone you fancy and probably even get their number which proves somewhat daunting to the average person.
