Happy humpday Readers!!!
I’ve been getting acquainted to the sweatshirt’s older, classier and more versatile cousin… THE SWEATER! Gone are the days when sweaters were only worn indoors, where no one important would see you wearing it, or when it got cold outside while you were playing and your mother had to make you wear something warm. Now it is actually stylish to wear a sweater outside without looking dorky, unless that’s the look you were going for initially.
Its time for another post and today we are talking overalls or what we all call Dungarees. It’s a humble 90’s trend that is back with a bang. If you are looking for a laid back and relaxed look then this is the go-to trend. There are actually ways to look hot in overalls like the bomb fashionista you are, without looking like a farmer.
It’s Friday my good people! Time for another flashback post #fbf. Can you believe how quickly the week has flown by?! It’s ridiculous!
So,I wore this look a while back and I was starting to feel guilty for not sharing. I’ve confessed before about my ridiculous obsession with utility jackets on previous posts(See Here) and now I’m letting you in on another one of my guilty pleasures, SKATES! Some people call them Vans but they really aren’t all from the Vans company right? I prefer calling them Skates or Slip-On sneakers.
When I first saw this skirt, I had my need for instant gratification on over drive! I love leather, well, you can tell from the numerous blog posts with leather jackets and skater skirts, but this skirt just makes me happy! Thank god for the 80’s leather high waist everything! The fact that it checks all my boxes is an added bonus. The color, the length, the fabric! I’M SOLD! SHUT IT DOWN!
It’s crazy how time flies… We are finally in the month of May and there is still so much to achieve before the end of the year, so much to do yet so little time! Seriously a girl just wants to have funds…Sigh!
Let’s not dwell on things we can’t really change or control and get right into today’s look. Well you all know I’m big on short flirty skirts with a bit of an edge and the skater skirt takes the trophy when it comes to this. The shorter the better! In keeping up with the spirit of being bold and fun while staying away from boring and frumpy, I tried to keep my outfit live in color while still sticking to the basic hues.
