It’s finally Friday! You know how you start doing a little countdown to the weekend? Mine started on Monday and the most exciting part is how the week just flew by in a snap. The reason why I’m so giddy about the weekend is because I had so much fun over the past one; which brings to this post. I attended my cousin’s graduation party last weekend and wanted to look casual and glam.
Sunny days and outdoor parties call for something vibrant and lively and this Calvin Klein polka dot halter neck cocktail dress was an obvious choice.

How are you all doing?! Still prepping for Valentines day?…Love is in the air, for us girls at least. I’m not sure how men feel about valentine’s day tho’ or the month of February for that matter. Must be one of those dark days for them! And speaking of dark, Black seems to be my go to color these days. I find myself picking out something black to wear every time I’m dressing up it’s RIDICULOUS! But, I love black. It’s easy to wear, elegant, it’s always stylish and oh, let’s see, it makes you lose a couple of pounds in an instant! WIN!
So after realizing I had no plans for the weekend(that’s never an inspiring journey), my head was starting to spin from all the non drama! Till I went through my calendar and realized that the street fashion festival was happening the following day and so was the cake festival!! It’s obvious my plan was to attend both events but I decided to try out the street fashion fest because it’s new on the scene. Most of you must be mortified by my decision to fore-go cake…I was too! It was a toughie! Anyway, back to my outfit pick, I decided to do a simple monochromatic look
