Burgundy Is The NEW Black

Happy New Week! March is finally coming to an end and my sister and I are excited to start our birthday month so you can all start sending in your gifts from the 1st day of April. And as the month comes to a close what better way to end it than with wine colored hues. Perhaps you’ve heard a little about Ox-blood or burgundy? It’s a color that’s taken up the streets and racks by storm! I love me some wine and I think it’s only natural to incorporate it in my wardrobe right? To be honest, I have been obsessed with this color for so long from clothes to Lipstick to Nail polish…
It’s like an addiction! I particularly love the fact that it goes so well when paired with every other color like grey, camel, black and blue.

I’m slowly turning into a burgundy fiend with my recent purchases being a skater skirt(See Here) and now this adorable sweater which I got on a thrift shopping haul for…are you ready for this? Ksh.50! I know right?! Don’t you just love the high that comes from a ridiculously good deal? I would be lying to you if I said I haven’t been living in it for the past couple of weeks!

Anyways, I paired my sweater with some blue denim pants and these old but amazing Charlotte Russe booties. I added a two tone leather cross body bag and since my look was so casual, I added a little somethin’ somethin’, by wearing a silver necklace for that extra shine! Talk about a Casual-chic, colorful, feminine, warm and stylish look for this sweater weather!
